On August 5, 2013, I made my debut on Vine. On my page, I made random content, as any 8-year-old in my position would. From November to December, my iPod Touch, which I used to record my Vines, was broken to the point where it was deemed unusable. On December 10, I uploaded my last Vine for a while before my iPod was taken to a repair shop, where it was most likely discarded.
On September 17, 2015, I discovered that I could make Vines through a desktop client called Bine. During this time, I was also making gaming videos on YouTube with Bandicam under a username similar to that of DanTDM.
I made my final appearance on Vine on Christmas Day 2016... except, the Vine is somehow corrupted, so my technical final appearance on Vine was on Christmas Eve 2016.
In early 2017, I created a new YouTube channel under a different username, where I made amateur short film projects. On February 25, 2018, I created what was originally a new space for said projects; however, in early February 2019, I set all of those videos to private and began my new journey into regular content creation; I made reaction videos.
On February 16, 2020, I said my final goodbye as "MyMattingCall". The next day, I created my new channel as "HunkerChunker", then I renamed it to "GetMattStat"; eventually, around mid-March, I settled on the name "Mattlexic", which originated from a Fortnite YouTuber's "secret" channel's name. On March 28, I uploaded my first video onto that channel, ultimately beginning my current journey. I uploaded every Saturday at 1:00 PM Eastern Time, eventually uploading less after full school days were reinstated.
On December 9, 2022, I uploaded what is now my most popular YouTube Short (originally from TikTok; "Absolutely every activity [...]" -Jenna Ortega), which has gained almost 400,000 views as of April 2, 2024.
